Storyline Click to Reveal
This conversational click to reveal file is built in a straightforward, easy-to-edit manner to make it super simple for you to customize.
On the base layer, you'll see a title and instructions and/or introduction text block.
Editing these objects is a breeze.
Just click and type to change content.
Use the formatting options in the top ribbon to change font style or size, colors, object shapes, and so on.
Also on the base layer, you'll see several buttons.
These are standard Storyline shapes.
Click and drag to reposition.
Right click and choose Format Shape, or use the top ribbon to change shape, fill color, stroke, and so on.
If you do make edits to buttons, make sure to double-check their states afterward.
Content that gets revealed when each button is active can be found on the other layers in the file.
These are all built with standard Storyline elements, and can be edited just like the base layer.
Click and type to change content, and use the formatting options in the top ribbon to change font style or size, color, shape, and so on.
This template also uses slide and feedback masters for all primary content elements.
Use those to make global edits to your files.
This also enables easy image editing.
To change any of the images in the file, just delete them and use the "Insert Picture from File" dialogue that appears.
Or, right-click and select Change Picture.
To reduce the number of buttons that appear, use the NumOfTabs variable at the top of the triggers pane.
Aside from being a pretty cool template on its own, this file is also set up to get you started with both 508 compliance AND xAPI.
We've got a minimum font size that meets standards, all contrast is up to snuff and easily changeable, and we've done some of the initial leg work on tab order by removing a number of non-content elements.
Plus, we've added some triggers to allow learners to make selections using the Enter key on their keyboard.
Make sure to note that if you make any functionality changes to the buttons in this file.
Similarly, we've added some custom xAPI statements to this file to send some great detail about your learners' actions to your LRS.
To learn more about xAPI and how to use it in our files, check out our xAPI support videos.
We've got a number of materials to support you.
