In this video, we're going to take a look at the basic structure of our Checkbox Knowledge Check Captivate template, and how to make simple edits, like changing text in the file.

This file works as follows:
A learner selects any of the checkboxes on screen and presses select.
They then receive correct/incorrect feedback, and, in the case of our xAPI files, a statement is sent indicating which elements were selected.

First let's look at the structure.

Each checkbox and label are separate objects on the screen.

To edit content in this template, simply click a textbox and edit at will.
To change the colors/behavior of each checkbox, select and edit using the style options on the properties pane. You'll need to replace some image fills here.
To edit feedback, enable the feedback layer and edit the content in the feedback caption. Correct feedback will be on the Normal state, and Incorrect feedback will be on the Incorrect state.

To edit correct, incorrect answers, open the variables pane.
Here, you'll see variables called checkbox#_...these correspond to the checkboxes on screen.
Set to 1 for a correct answer on each.
Set to 0 to indicate it's an incorrect answer.
To remove an answer option altogether, simply delete the checkbox you'd like to remove.
